I did take some time this afternoon to put together our household budget for 2011.

Here are the main points:
1. With E now not in university for most of next year, I will be able to save the money we were paying for his rent - 330€
2. My Tax Habitation will be reduced this year - the difference will go into savings
3. My housekeeping will stay at 300€ per month. This was reasonably easy to manage for the last 4 months providing I menu plan properly each week and make lunch to take to work every day.
4. I only have 3 big bills that are not on DD, the house insurance and both cars insurance, so I will put money into a different account each month to pay for these when they arrive.

We will start the year in Negative equity on account of our roof. I'll have to start selling clothes pegs to the gypsies
