Down Music Memory Lane ..........

Following on from Diane at http://diane-heartshaped.blogspot.com/

this week I would like to share some of my musical memories with you from the 70s and early 80s.

As I said on Diane's blog - the first record I bought was:

Floy joy - the supremes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuMCksvMrD4

It was released in 1972, so I must have been 11 !!!!!!

Apparently it was written by Smokey Robinson

Don't forget to sing along.

AAAHh a good one. So many Motown ones - still great to this day!. I find it heartwarming when my kids discover a Motown song that they love. The Supremes story is such a good one too. xx

I was so into Motown when I was in my teens. I saw Diana Ross and The Jackson 5 at the Liverpool Empire when I was 15.
Love this Kathy xxx

Huge Motown fan here♥ Not sure which I bought first it was either The Chi-lites "Have you seen her" or The Tams "Hey girl don't bother me" Northern soul was happening.... I loved the 70's, my era:)

Love, love Mowtown - Tears of a clown by Smokey Robinson still a favourite. We went to see the Supremes in Newcastle and Diana Ross was just so cute when she came out of the stage door (we saddos were waiting with many others to see them!)and said 'please don't crush me - I'm only little'!
