This is a question for all ladies of a certain age.
Has anyone tried 5HTP?
My friend takes it to help with symptoms of the menopause and she says it works better then St Johns Wort.
Does anyone else have any experience of using it?
I have read all the information regarding the side effects etc, but would like some first hand experience.
Thanks

Have no idea but will give it a try. I'm fed up with sitting round in a vest trying to keep cool. So is my OH with six inches of snow and ice outside and I have the windows open and keep chucking the quilt off the bed. Is it a natural product as I hate taking chemicals unless I really have to?
I haven't used anything. I'm getting through under my own steam (literally!) at the mo. For the first time in my life I am leiterally hot in bed! xxxxx
5HTP is 100% natural. (It's ground seeds from an African plant called 'griffonia').
I've used it periodically for years to help with mood, sleep & controlling appetite.
My ex swears that 150mg per day keeps her off her depression meds, and even my mum uses 5-htp to help control her hot flushes!
If you live in the UK you cannot buy 5-htp over the counter. BUT you CAN buy 5-HTP for UK delivery online from www.vitasunn.co.uk
GREAT stuff!
