It's a dog's life

Frugal Queen had a wonderful picture on her blog a couple of days ago - a dog relaxing on a li-lo in a pool. this reminded me so much of our dog - she doesn't go in the pool but she does relax - a lot!
Her name is Miss and we found her in the SPA (French equivilant to RSPCA) about 11 years ago.

She has a wonderful life, lots of freedom, walks, animals to chase etc but she is getting old now and as it's very warm here at the moment she seems to spend her life baking in the sun then dragging herself inside to flop on the tiles panting like a mad dog.

This is her favourite position in the garden when it's hot - no modesty and she looks like she has been dropped out of a window!!

confiture de lait:for 3 to4 jars.1 liter full cream milk,500gr sugar , vanilla pod 1,Pour the milk into a pan , open the vanilla pod with a knife put what's inside in your milk. add sugar and bring to the boil ,stirring it with a wooden spoon. simmer for two hours, stirring from time to time.as soon as it becomes thicker , keep stirring all the time. When it gets to the thickness of a sauce and the color of caramel, it's ready!pour into jars and keep in the fridge before using it.you may have it on bread or use it on biscuits or as a stuffing in sponge cakes.
I'm glad you left a message , because on your blog there is no link to go on your blog. Many blogs don't have unfortunately and i could not find your mail either . If it's not clear enough please feel free to ask! Catherine

Thanks for that I will have to buy some whole milk next time I go to the shops. I'm not sure what you mean when you say 'because on your blog there is no link to go on your blog. Many blogs don't have unfortunately and i could not find your mail either' what do I need to do to do this. As you can see I have just started so any advice is very welcome
Thanks
Sue

Thanks for your comment
She certainly is - Mrs P. We have had her for just over a year and she produced a litter of 10 babies in March. When it is hot she loves the water and we just turn the hosepipe on her and this was the picture - piggy heaven!
